Now that the field has been cleared on the 2021-22 NFL Primetime season -- regular, post and Super Bowl -- it's time to wrap it all up and reflect on what came to pass. There is no denying the plethora of eyeballs that American football brings to broadcast television, making it the strongest performer in primetime versus any other program or genre. Luckily, after last year's fumble, this season has shown recovery with an increase in performance over 2020-21 and hopes of an upward trajectory going forward.
